Hip Dysplasia

The Association provides a scheme for the evaluation of Hip Dysplasia in affected breeds of dog for the benefit of owners/breeders of these dogs, through their veterinarians. The veterinarian is required to produce radiographic plates of adequate quality for evaluation purposes.

The plates, together with documentation and appropriate fees, are submitted to the association ED Panel for evaluation, grading and certification as appropriate. A register is maintained.
